"ALL AROUND EWE" 2004
Fused glass, flameworked components, lead, ball chain.
The original sheep mozaic Sheep Outstanding in Their Field; was created for a SCC mentorship project, "Colleagues in Craft", in 1997. Since moving to New Brunswick in 2001 my main emphasis has been on flameworking. All Around Ewe has my traditional frit (crushed glass) sheep, but all the components comprising the background are glass elements which have been fabricated over an open torch flame.
